DESCRIPTION:Better Angels Brown County Alliance Public Debate Resolved: The southern border needs to be controlled by expanding the wall. \n\nParticipants are encouraged to prepare a brief\, 3-4 minute statement supporting or opposing the resolution. After a participant speaks\, the Chair asks for one or two questions from the body. The speaker responds to the questions\, then is thanked and returns to their seat\, and another speaker takes the floor.\n\nBetter Angels is a national citizens' movement to reduce political polarization in the United States by bringing liberals and conservatives together to understand each other beyond stereotypes. We unite red and blue Americans in a working alliance to DEPOLARIZE AMERICA. A Better Angels Debate is a different kind of debate in which a group of people think together\, listen carefully to one another\, and allow themselves to be touched and perhaps changed by each other's ideas.
