SUMMARY:Virtual Golf Outing “Choose your Own Day” Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:How does a "Choose your own Day" Golf Outing Work? \n\nThis year\, because of the COVID-19 health crisis and social distancing rules\, our traditional annual golf outing has become a "choose your own day" golf outing. \n\nWhat does this mean?\n\nInstead of everyone gathering on one day to golf and celebrate\, we are allowing golfers to choose their own day within a 2-month time period to golf and submit their scores to be entered into the running for cash prizes.\n\nThis allows everyone the opportunity to still support the Chamber while practicing Social Distancing guidelines set forth by the Governor. \n\nThis tournament is open to men and women and is a fantastic event to play with your son or daughter!\n\nHow does it work?\n\nPrior to playing:\n\n        Golfers will register with the Chamber to participate\; registration includes:\n\n	18-Hole Round of Golf at Friendly Meadows Golf Course \n	Golf-Cart(s) \n	Virtual Golf Tournament T-Shirt\n	FREE 18-Hole Green Fee Pass at Friendly Meadows Golf Course \n	An opportunity to win cash prizes!\n\n        Players will call the course to reserve their tee time anytime before July 31\, 2020. Please call (937) 379-1050. \n\n        Golfers will receive an email that contains a voucher for an 18-hole round of golf to present to the course on your scheduled day. \n\nDay of Golfing: \n\nPlayers will arrive at the pro shop in the clubhouse prior to their tee time and redeem their voucher to play their 18 holes. Golfers will play using the "Best Ball" format.  When you are done playing\, take pictures of your scorecard and your team and email them to the Chamber at brchcom@gmail.com AND drop off your scorecard to the clubhouse/pro shop.  Players MUST drop off their scorecard to be eligible for prizes.\n\n$250 Cash Prize to Winning Foursome\n\n$150 Cash Prize to Winning Twosome\n\nAfter Golfing:\n\nThe chamber will tally up the scores and announce the 1st place winners for the Foursomes and Twosomes in a celebration video presentation that will be sent to all participants and chamber members. Scores will be announced on Wednesday\, August 1st.  \n\nWinners will be contacted to pick up their prizes. Participants will receive their t-shirts and Green Fee Pass after the event.
