Organization: On Our Way Home, Inc.
Location: Hybrid (Clermont County, OH and surrounding counties).
Compensation: $20 - $24/hour DOE. Non-exempt; minimum 20 hours/week with potential for additional hours based on organizational needs.
Benefits: Biweekly taxable health/wellness bonus following probation period. Immediate access to training and educational programs both internally and through partner organizations.

On Our Way Home, Inc. is a nonprofit Peer Run Organization dedicated to providing quality safe, and affordable housing in single-family residences where peers live together to support each other in recovery from addiction. Position Overview

The Marketing and Administrative Assistant will play a key role in enhancing our community outreach, maintaining our digital presence, supporting administrative functions, and contributing to the overall mission of On Our Way Home, Inc. This hybrid position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about recovery support and possesses a blend of marketing savvy and strong administrative proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Community Outreach (20-25%): Attend community events with partner organizations throughout Clermont and surrounding counties, along with executive leadership and/or CPRS team members. Positively represent On Our Way Home, Inc., to foster relationships and promote our mission.
  • Digital Presence / Brand Management (30-35%): Maintain and update social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) and the organization's website. Post engaging content at least once per week and respond to messages and comments to engage the community. Assist in creation/distribution of print materials, including brochures, business cards, banners, etc.
  • Administrative Reporting (10-15%): Compile and prepare monthly reports on marketing and outreach goals for internal and external stakeholders. Participate in follow-up meetings with executive leadership and outside marketing consultants to discuss progress and strategy.
  • Office Management Support (35-40%): Perform basic office management tasks (scheduling appointments online, updating Google sheets/forms, processing electronic documentation, correspondence, and submitted forms). Perform basic AP/AR accounting tasks, such as paying bills online, recording payments sent/received in QuickBooks and managing employee reimbursements.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in and/or possess a bachelor’s degree in business, behavioral health, addiction studies, or a related field (and/or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education).
  • Positive and outgoing pro-social disposition, comfortable working with and relating to individuals in recovery from addiction and/or mental health issues and able to model a positive image of OOWH
  • Demonstratable recent experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), digital office tools/software including G-Suite (Sheets, Drive, Forms, Meet), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other programs / online platforms (Wix or QuickBooks Online a bonus!)
  • Strong, demonstrated aptitude to learn new technologies/platforms
  • Willingness to learn, grow and adapt as OOWH grows and expands
  • Ability to travel up to 1 – 2 times per week throughout Clermont and/or surrounding counties, as needed, with some flexibility to work occasional nights/weekends depending on event schedule. Mileage reimbursement for use of personal vehicle and compensation for travel time included.

This position offers a strong potential for growth, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role in the near future. Employees will have immediate access to certain training and educational programs through our partner organizations, including CPRS training, professional development, and potential conferences/networking opportunities throughout the region/state.
