Service Technician

Shafer Heating & Cooling has been serving the community of Hillsboro with the best service in the HVAC industry since 1985. We have experienced significant growth in our business over those years. We have never been downsized! We continue to grow by finding the right people and letting them do what they do best! We pride ourselves as families working for families. Our service techs are in the field working with other field personnel and customers alike to ensure that we continue to provide world class service. Our position is a little different. You will not only service and repair HVAC systems but be expected to sell our services and be paid to do so. A Great positive attitude is what you will need. Does working without someone looking over your shoulder sound appealing? Do you like to solve problems? Are you driven by the challenge of doing things right and making a difference while getting paid for your results? If this sounds like you, then we need to talk. We are looking for someone like you who is great at working with tools and customers alike. You’ll work Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, plus on call rotation. Don’t waste another day on a job leading you nowhere! It is time to get paid for your results!
MUST HAVE MECHANICAL APTITUDE Compensation: $ 40,000 a year to $150,000 a year based on experience Position Type: Full Time, M-F 7am-4pm plus on-call
Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license, Ability to pass drug test and criminal background check, clean driving record, ability to lift 125-150 pounds
